Twitter yesterday announced that they’ve now enabled “Night mode” across its website, Twitter.com.
Night mode was already a part of Twitters mobile apps, and it was only a matter of time before it headed in to save the poor eyes of twitter.com users. It replaces the bright white background of the regular Twitter website, with a dark Navy blue style and the content boxes with a slightly lighter blue.
My opinion is I’m loving this trend towards darker themes and night modes, for those of us that do a lot of work at night, it’s an invaluable option to be able to stare at the screen and not feel like you’re staring in to the heart of the sun.
To enable night mode, login, click on your avatar in the top right-hand corner and select “Night Mode” (see featured image above).
