The Adobe XD September 2018 Update is now available to the public via the Adobe Creative Cloud app, and brings a nice amount of features with it.
New features for the Adobe XD September 2018 Update
Spell Check
OK, maybe not the most exciting thing to grace our web designing screens, but a must have for quick prototypes. Bad spelling can look unprofessional and smacks of sloppiness. With the Adobe XD September 2018 Update you can now quickly check your spelling.
As per most spellcheckers, if you enter a misspelled word, the item will be highlighted with a squiggly red line. Letting you go back and edit it. Easy!

Responsive Resize
In XD you can now set various objects, groups and the artboard to be responsive on resize. To do this, select an object and flip the “Responsive Resize” toggle found in the right hand object panel.
You can switch between automatic and manual resizing. Manual comes with limited options for how to control what happens when resizing that object.

Timed Transitions
Transitions are something I’ve been waiting to get some love, and here it is.
I’ve not a chance to play with this feature as yet, however Adobe promises “… greater control over the timing of your transitions between artboards. Create looping animations with delays for auto-fade effects, spinners, loaders, progress bars, and more.” Which all sounds very promising and a long overdue update.
Full-screen Prototypes
Full screen prototypes, what can I say? It does exactly what it says on the tin.
Allow your published prototypes to be experienced in all their full-screen glory. Great for allowing clients to view your prototypes as initially intended.
